Embark On Your
Certification Pathway
You did not stumble into this program. You were called to it—by clinical curiosity, by a sense that something important was missing from your training, by the women in your practice whose needs you could not yet fully meet, or by something less nameable that brought you to this threshold anyway.
What follows is not a checklist. It is a map of an initiatory journey with real thresholds, real requirements, and real markers of genuine readiness. Each requirement exists because the work demands it. Because the women you will serve deserve a practitioner who has done the full arc of the preparation on all levels.
Your personal pathway will be tracked under the drop down with your name in the top right navigation bar. Then go to "My Account" > "Certification Pathway" ... this is where you and Dr. Danielle will track your progress through the program. If you have questions about where you are in the pathway, contact Dr. Danielle directly.
Your Initiation into becoming a Certified Gyno Chiro™
Before You Begin — The Prerequisites
Three prerequisite modules must be completed before you begin the core certification curriculum. These are the philosophical, epistemic, and cyclical foundation without which the clinical training cannot land properly.
LINK TO PREREQS VIRTUAL COURSES
🌀 CYCLES orients you to cyclical living as the ground of your own embodied practice. You cannot teach women to live in relationship with their cycles if you are not living in relationship with your own.
🧠 DISCERNMENT builds the epistemic tools you will need to navigate a field that is clinically ahead of its research base, in a profession that has a complicated relationship with evidence, in an information environment that rewards certainty over precision.
🐝 MATRIX establishes the philosophical and political framework this work is rooted in. Understanding the lineage you are entering — what was taken, what was suppressed, what is being reclaimed.
📅 Schedule a 1:1 mentorship call with Dr. Danielle once these three prereqs are complete, at which time you will get access to the next threshold.
The Thresholds
Once the prerequisites are complete, you enter the thresholds of your initiation.
ENTERING
This threshold begins when you enter the core certification curriculum and extends through your attendance at the Hands-On Skills Retreat.
You are in the foundational learning phase—moving through ELEMENTALS and into ROOTS, building the clinical and philosophical framework that the hands-on work requires.
This section is self-paced virtual learning with group calls for questions and discussion the last Wednesday evening of each month. It is set up this way so that when we meet in person for the hands on skills retreat, we can spend our time there focused on bodywork techniques instead of information dumps.
WHAT IS REQUIRED:
- ⓵ Completion of all ELEMENTALS competencies.
Each module includes WISDOM questions that test your intellectual understanding and EMBODIMENT questions that ask you to integrate the material in your own body and practice. These are set up in a forum format to encourage collective discussion of the learning material. - ⓶ A transition meeting with Dr. Danielle before the retreat.
This is a one-on-one check-in to confirm you are ready to cross this threshold—that the foundational curriculum has landed, that your questions have been addressed, and that you are arriving at the retreat genuinely prepared. - Once this meeting is complete, you will complete the ROOTS courses to prepare you for the retreat. This is the bulk of the information you need for internal pelvic work.
- ⓷ Live attendance at the Hands-On Skills Retreat.
The hands-on transmission that happens at the retreat cannot be replicated through video or text. If you cannot attend all three days, you will need to attend a future retreat before progressing. Contact Dr. Danielle as early as possible if scheduling presents a challenge.
WHAT YOU CARRY AT THIS THRESHOLD:
The Gyno Chiro™ Initiate credential. Use it proudly on your website, your social profiles, and your professional materials. It signals that you are in serious post-graduate training and doing work most chiropractors have never done. See the Brand Guidelines section for how to use this credential accurately and well.
DEEPENING
This threshold begins after the retreat and extends through the completion of your case studies. The Case Studies module does not unlock until you have returned from the retreat—because what you bring back from those three days is what makes genuine case study work possible. You are now in the practice phase — applying what you have learned in real clinical settings, documenting your observations, and contributing to the collective evidence base.
WHAT IS REQUIRED:
- ⓵ 13 case studies, each with a minimum of 3 sessions documented, completed within the case study submission process outlined in the curriculum. Cases are registered in the collective database when identified, discussed actively in The Collective Telegram and at monthly group calls, and completed when the client reaches discharge or transition to maintenance care.
- Your case studies are supported by more educational material, PRAXIS. Working through General Assessment, Foundational Series, Care Pathways, Doctor's Notes, Implementation Research, and It Takes a Village gives you the full practice infrastructure to support your case study work. These are not modules to complete after your cases in a course format like ROOTS and ELEMENTALS—they are the framework you work within as your cases unfold.
PRAXIS is found in the Wiki inside the portal, which you will get access to once you complete your first hands-on skills retreat. - ⓶ A midpoint transition meeting with Dr. Danielle at approximately case 6 or 7, and again when your case studies are complete. This is a clinical check-in, not an evaluation. It is an opportunity to review what you are observing, surface patterns, address questions that have emerged in practice, and ensure you are moving through the case study requirement with genuine engagement.
WHAT YOU CARRY AT THIS THRESHOLD:
Still the Gyno Chiro™ Initiate credential—now held with increasing clinical depth and real practice experience behind it.
THRESHOLD THREE
CERTIFICATION
The final transition meeting with Dr. Danielle upon completion of all 13 case studies marks the crossing of this threshold. This is the certification conversation—a review of your clinical development, your case observations, and your readiness to carry the Certified Gyno Chiro™ credential into the world.
In summary, Full certification requires:

THRESHOLD FOUR
BLOSSOMS
Certification is not the finish line. It is the opening of the next layer.
BLOSSOMS is the post-certification layer of the collective and is oriented toward building a practice, contributing to the field, and growing as a member of a collective that is actively shaping the future of women's health in chiropractic.
Maintaining your certification annually includes:
✓ Your presence: A listing in the Gyno Chiro Practitioner Directory on gynochiro.com — your professional home within the collective, visible to clients and referral partners seeking a certified practitioner. Featured presence on Gyno Chiro social media and the website, with the opportunity to author blog posts and contribute to the collective's public voice if you wish.
✓ Your community: Access to The Incubator, our the certified practitioner Telegram space where the conversation shifts from clinical training to practice building. Business strategy, creative retreat planning, collaborative projects, and the ongoing development of the collective happen here.
✓ Your tools: Access to the full Gyno Chiro logo, subject to brand review guidelines. Presentation templates, client-facing brochures, and marketing materials to promote your Gyno Chiro practice. An affiliate code for the self-care courses and memberships on gynochiro.com—Cycles of Wisdom, Vital Vagina Self Care, and B.E.A.M.—so you can recommend these resources and earn from the referrals.
✓ Your ongoing development: Access to masterclasses deepening your clinical and philosophical practice. Participation in the annual Creative Retreat—a dedicated space for certified practitioners to develop client-facing educational content, build their digital presence, and contribute video and written resources to the B.E.A.M. practitioner library. Affiliate and teaching opportunities as the collective grows.
✓ Your ongoing commitment: Annual recertification to maintain your certified status. Recertification includes submission of at least one new case study to the collective database and a brief annual meeting with Dr. Danielle to continue deepening your practice and maintaining the collective's reputation for high standards. Details of the annual recertification process are available through Dr. Danielle directly.
THE TEACHER TRAINING PATH
For practitioners who feel called not just to practice this work but to teach it and to carry the transmission forward and shape the next generation of Gyno Chiro practitioners, a Teacher Training pathway is in development.
This path is not an advanced credential or an additional fee. It is an invitation to contribute to the body of work itself and share in responsibility of the growth of the collective. Practitioners on the Teacher Training path will be expected to bring something to the collective—a research contribution, a developed module, a clinical framework, something that serves the lineage rather than simply extending personal credentials.
The specifics of this pathway are being developed in collaboration with the collective. If you feel called to it, bring that conversation to Dr. Danielle. The door is open for those who are ready to walk through it with genuine contribution...
